After 6 years of using and abusing, my bug has finally died (or been squished, I guess?). This is me letting my bug fly away into the hands of the car dealer. I loved this car, but after 116000 miles (its a 2002, by the way!), three lights regularly glaring at me from the dashboard, the heated seats being broken and multiple things inside the car being reglued, it was time to get a new vehicle. I now have a gray Honda CR-V. It's great -- it's so much easier to cart boxes, centerpieces, etc. to and from weddings. I miss the comments from people about the bug though -- it was so spunky and they could never figure out how on earth I fit so much stuff into it.
Long live the bug :-) RIP.
