Sneak peek of today's wedding: Prebridal shoot

These photos of today's bride, Lisa, were taken earlier this week by the lovely Jacquelynn Buck. Her work is absolutely amazing! I met her at a women's expo three years ago and I have been itching to find the perfect client of our to work with. These photos will be posting right around the same time her fiance, Greg, will be seeing her dress for the first time.

Last minute items

Tomorrow we are doing a tweet by tweet on Twitter during the wedding. We just finished the rehearsal and now I am going home to make custom table numbers with a message from the bride and groom on it. Earlier today, we set up the reception (at the Polish Club in Dayton) with the linens, favors (beer steins), glasses and ceiling fabric. If you can get into a facility early it definitely makes things a lot less hectic for setup on the wedding day.

Video Blog from The Flowerman

I shot this video blog on Thursday with Stephanie, the do it yourself wedding coordinator at The Flowerman, when I went with my client to help her assemble her flowers for the weekend.

We have a channel with videos that I've taken while out and about on You Tube if you'd like to see more.

Wedding Theme: 2 peas in a pod

With the summer quickly approaching, a cute idea for a wedding theme is "two peas in a pod." Use fresh pea pods for centerpieces by putting a bushel of them into an apocatherapy jar surrounded by candles. Serve them as the vegetable for your meal. You can have white linens complemented by a pea colored napkin or overlay. Or give these adorable favors to your guests!

Say Cheese Photo Booth

This is a video I shot when I was at the Wedding Mafia Bachelorette Party last week. Frank Calahan, the owner of Say Cheese Photo Booth, demonstrates how the video booth works. I've had several clients use the photo booth this year at their wedding reception and it's really cool. Not only will your guests have a fun favor, but a copy of each photo is saved for you in a scrapbook. Highly recommend! Enjoy the video and check out Say Cheese.
